So he's once again getting noticed around here, serving as an assistant football coach at Rockhurst High School. He even found someone who named their kid after him. ...the child was born on the day the Chiefs won Super Bowl IV.
Life might have been different for Garrett if he had signed to play baseball after the Pirates drafted him....or after the Dodgers drafted him (twice). He used that baseball leverage to squirm away from the Chiefs in 1970, which led to Ed Podolak and some lesser talents running the ball for KC. I forgive Garrett. Kinda...
