Dayton provided the only such victory in 2022 as they continued their dominance(15-1 since 2004) against Robert Morris. USD lost by a point to Cal Poly & Valpo lost by 7 to Illinois State but otherwise the games weren't super competitive.
Will PFL teams fair better this year? Dayton doesn't play their whipping boys this year but they do get Illinois State week 1. Davidson plays a VMI team that's predicted to finish last in the Solon via their coaches poll. Does USD knock off Cal Poly this year? Does UST take another step forward knock off South Dakota or Harvard?
I would say the over/under is 1 h I'm inclined to take the under. What are you guys' takes?

Marist has away games at Georgetown and Columbia, and a home game against Bucknell -- I'm hoping for 1 win out of these -- dare I hope for two ??

I predict two non-league (FCS) PFL wins. 1. Marist over Georgetown. Too often, Red Fox-Hoya games have looked like this... "Hey, I thought you had him." Last year, Georgetown put up 43 points in this game. However, the 2023 Hoyas are pretty much staring over on offense. 'Not saying GU's second team couldn't score six TDs on Marist, but the Red Fox defense seems to be in a better place now. Marist returns a decent quarterback. Fingers crossed that they won't embarrass themselves this time. 2. St. Thomas over Harvard. Both teams are looking for a quarterback. The St. Thomas transfer from Duluth is now a tight end. The coach must have confidence in Powell and/or Rostberg. St. Thomas still has the big boys up front that blew Dale Lindsey's mind. Backs and receivers look good, too. The Toms are too busy enjoying the ride to be intimidated by Harvard. They don't know they're supposed to get beat.

Presbyterian's upset win vs Wofford stands as the lone PFL "scalp" with only the following opportunities remaining
10/7 Marist at Columbia 10/21 Morehead St at Tarleton St 11/18 Bucknell at Marist
Looks like hope's are slim of getting another win in my opinion Congrats to the Blue Hose!
