Reminds me of the old dog food commercial with various breeds of dogs commenting on the taste where the dog said in a Churchill-sequence: “This is dog food’s finest hour!”( which was undone by the bloodhound’s “It makes me very happy” and the dog with the ear-covered eyes saying, “ Tastes great! What’s it look like?”).
Oh, the crap I remember….

Trivia answer...
John Outland started the Kansas Relays in 1923, two decades after he was the head football coach at KU. The story is similar to that of the Drake Relays, which dates from 1910 and was created by football coach John Griffith.
Outland may be the only person to ever play for both "Penn"s: (Quaker) Penn College* in Iowa...and (faux Quaker) University of Pennsylvania.
* - now William Penn University
