Michigan's win today puts them in the national championship game. Wolverine fans who saw their team go unbeaten in conference play have reasonable expectations of finishing the season with a win. 'Wish I knew what that felt like.

Of course I'll be rooting for our former ball coach and Michigan but it would be nice seeing the PAC-12 pick up another national title on the way out. Should be a great game.

Drake basketball's NCAA tournament teams have, in many ways, been on an equal footing with the competition. Same number of scholarships, no road trips to Fargo, etc.
The Bulldogs have been to the Elite Eight and Final Four (as have Butler and Dayton). D-I basketball is not subdivided. On the other hand, Drake football was forced out of the NCAA's top level. So while I know the odds of a DU national championship are long --even longer in the age of NIL --this casual hoops fan can get a little excited about the NCAA tourney.
Brad Stevens' Butler teams were an inspiration. So was the 2014 Missouri Valley Conference champion. A lot can happen in the tournament. That's how it got its nickname. Not so much with the FCS football tournament, which for PFL teams is usually anticlimactic.
This is not to say that the PFL shouldn't get an automatic playoff bid, just like everyone else. Nor am I discounting the two playoff wins by USD. But there's a better postseason solution out there.

Michigan won. Will Harbaugh now return to the NFL?
My odds would be:
50 percent chance he goes to the Chargers; 30 percent chance to the Raiders; 15 percent chance he stays at Michigan; 5 percent something else.

If only Washington had gotten to play in & won some bowl game that no one cares about, their season would be considered a success 🤔😉

Washington won the Sugar Bowl, then played in the major college national championship (which looked a lot like the Rose Bowls I remember). Maybe those are obscure games, but I'd say their season was a success.
Fortunately, they have had the attendance and athletic spending keep the NCAA from forcing them into FCS.
